The ReStore sells both new and gently used merchandise.  We depend on donations from the public, builders, remodelers and retailer stores alike for our inventory.  We provide free pick-up and tax donation receipts.  All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Collin County.

Many of the items come from donors who are remodeling, reorganizing or moving. Our trucks make pickups throughout the area, which means our stock changes almost daily. Donors include contractors, remodelers and others who have access to building and construction materials.

Habitat Collin County ReStore also receives donations from several area retailers which include closeouts, returned merchandise, one-of-a-kind and other new items.

Our ReStore purchases many new items in bulk, including cabinets, flooring and other items which are also used in new Habitat for Humanity homes. These purchases help lower the cost of Habitat homes and allow us to sell new items at reduced prices to the public.

Yes.  You will be given a tax-deductible receipt when you donate.

Yes!  The ReStore is dedicated to recycling used construction items and furniture and also re-mixes paint donations to produce interior and exterior primer sold at sharply reduced prices.  In addition, the ReStore sells paint and stain close-outs and other difficult-to-recycle chemicals which have costly disposal fees.

The vision of Habitat for Humanity is a world where everyone has a decent place to live.  The mission is “Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.”

Habitat Collin County has an open-door policy:  All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any other distinctions dividing people. HCC-HFH will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
